HYMNS (ABOUT)

“Hymns by Glen McInnis” are recorded as piano, organ, string ensemble, brass band, choir voices, folk guitar or a combination of each. (I have played all of these into midi using the ES110 Kawai Keyboard, Cakewalk 5 audio libraries from Sound Iron and the free Ample Sound AMGL folk guitar library. Then I exported each into an mp3 audio file.) In another playlist below are at least 8 Christmas Hymns that I played. And below that playlist is a few hymns that I played years ago. Please click here to see the soon upcoming hymns to be uploaded

“Hymns by Cindy Walton” were played in the Congregation of Providence PCA in Midland TX, either as prelude or offertory. Also included are 4 Christmas in this same category. Enjoy.

“Hymns by Lauren Monday” were played in the Congregation of Providence PCA in Midland TX, and were either offertory or prelude.

“Hymns by Christ Covenant PCA” are 3 full hymns in piano sung by the Congregation of Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church in Westminster PA. Mark Herzer is the pastor there, and selected of both sermons (CLICK HERE) and prayers (CLICK HERE) of his are on this website.

All these are provided for your own use. Of those my own hymns, please do not post any upon another website, but rather provide this link to them ThyWordWeLove.Love or a sub page thereof.

NOTE: The hymns attributed to myself “Glen McInnis” were produced high fidelity and play best using high quality ear buds or on an mp3 player using high quality speakers with excellent dynamic range. If not at current feasible, at least playing them on a computer with good external speakers is better than playing on most smart phones using internal speakers.

Hymns not showing as Instrumental attributed to Glen McInnis will also include the singing of the hymn. None yet. Hold on. They are coming soon.

Each hymn is royalty free. That means there is no copyright from the original writer and original composer, both having long since passed away.

A few hymns, such as Great Is Thy Faithfulness, I have added a bit of my own rendition thereto. The last part of that I designed to represent a heavenly choir. That would be of those who have gone before and where we will be in heavenly perfection. I purposely left a few imperfections that you might catch, doing so to acknowledge my own imperfections just as within yourself.

The LORD gave me the skill to append (after the organ appears to finalize “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”) an encore which moves musically heavenward in a sense, representing the faithfulness of Christ as more than sufficient to overflowing to get us home with Him and our loving Father. There we will recognize His faithfulness in all His fullness and splendor.

Music expression is “Dissonance resolved to Consonance” or “Discord to Accord.” Music, in the heavenly sphere, will truly be an expression of our redemption – once lost without hope turned miraculously to salvation for eternity. And we will sing a new song there. We cannot even fathom what that will be like. We can only try to do that. And with this thought, you will note that music theory is actually not theory at all. It is truth and proven to be so – even at the very end of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” You will sense a very strong dissonance resolved in perhaps the best way humanly possible; in recorded human voices in a choir – though without words. And yet, if you listen to the choir in full, you can hear many of the words, for you know them well. Your mind is not playing tricks on you. This is a miracle that God has provided us. The imagination of our hearts has turned in this life in good measure away from evil. But in that day, with glorious perfection are turned and tuned to only and all that is good forever.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is free of charge, and so is the talent that God has gifted me. Why would I charge anyone for this gift that He has so graciously given me? If one desires to give in return, that is fine.

I have played the piano since the age of 10, having played in numerous churches throughout the years. My mother taught me the basics and I went from there with a hunger to be used of the LORD.

May these hymns be a blessing to you and to others.

(I have written and composed a few of my own songs. These will appear in a separate playlist in the near future.)

Additionally – as the hymns continue to grow they will be separated alphabetically into different playlists.

If using a phone, turn phone landscape for full viewing of the titles.

Using Firefox on Android, if the phones window times out with Firefox in the background, for some reason any playlist set for continuous play might stop after the current title ends, even if the application options extends full usage to the app in the background.
